privacy policy

Whois (“we,” “us”) operates whois-show-who-you-are.com, a platform where you create and customize your own public profile page. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it — in plain language, because that's how we talk.
What we collect
- Account info: your email address and password (stored encrypted), or your name and email from Google if you sign in with Google.
- Your page content:everything you choose to put on your page — display name, photos, bio, links, music links, styling. This content is public by design: that's the point of your page.
What we do with it
- We use your email to log you in and to send account-related messages.
- We display your page content to anyone who visits your page URL.
- We do not sell your data. There is no advertising. There is no algorithm profiling you. Giving people their space back is the whole idea.
Where it lives
Account data and content are stored with Supabase (our database provider) and served via Cloudflare. Music players are embedded from the service you link (Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Apple Music) — those services may set their own cookies when their player loads, governed by their own policies.
Your control
- You can edit or remove anything on your page at any time.
- You can delete your account and all of its content by contacting us — full self-serve deletion is coming.
